Had an automotive playdate with a friend last saturday.
We had 2 photoshoot’s on the day; the first was his Citroen DS with the Cadillac, with the Citroen showing the Cadillac how to be a ‘lowrider’.
The second was his DS with my Citroen C5. Playing around with the hydropneumatic suspension on both our Citroen’s was a great deal of fun and gave onlooker’s a pretty funny sight to behold.
Seeing as I was driving a Holden Commodore ute last weekend (unleashing my inner Australian) and a good friend of mine wanted shots of his Commodore, I decided I might as well have a shoot with both cars. So yeah…enough talking; let the pictures speak for themselves!
Cars present are:
Holden VE Commodore SV-6
Holden VE Commodore Series II SV-6 Thunder UteĀ
Not having my R31 skyline on the road yet is making me slightly depressed; then I get the opportunity to shoot this magnificent R31 and all of a sudden I realise that this is what i’m aspiring for my car to look like when it’s done and the waiting will eventually be worth every minute :D
Props to Mark at Decroft for letting me shoot his absolutely amazing car!
I remember seeing this car for the first time when going for a thrash through the hills in my friend’s car; him and his friend, the owner of the white R31 Skyline at the time were planning a route for a car cruise for the R31 Skyline Club and I tagged along for a drive and a quick shoot. Needless to say, I fell in love with the car from the first sight.
Amazing how life works sometimes; floods ravaged victoria, the white car was declared an economic write-off by the insurance companies and low and behold, I now own the car and i’m currently restoring it back to it’s former glory and the previous owner of the car now own’s another R31 S3 Ti with a full JDM R31 Passage velour interior. Both parties are happy!
JDM front and rear bars, R32 RB20DET 5 speed gearbox, R31 S3 Silohouette LSD, brand new bushes all round, 16” Watanabe’s and a SVD GTS1 cam on it’s way…along with new carpet and a complete re-wire of the car (currently a bit of a shit fight)…it might not be the newest, best looking or most expensive car on the road; but it’s one hell of a clean cruiser with the potential to be a bit of a beast (turbo conversion on the maps).
I can’t wait ‘till she’s road registered!
Quick shot of a Rosella whilst I was chillin’ out at a holiday house over the weekend
Josh’s new project car :D
A Nissan R31 Skyline Ti…and his drift hack Datsun 200B in the background
Met up with a few friend’s during the weekend at an american car show and decided we’d take some photo’s of our car’s together.
From Left to Right:
‘63 Cadillac Series 62 Sedan
‘75 Lincoln Continental
‘50 Mercury
the longest exposure ever recorded, using a pinhole camera. It showing the destruction and re-building of the MoMa in New York over 34 months in a single frame. It would be amazing to see this blown up in a large print to view all the details..
Woah
Amazing.
